I'm totally loving that Magnum P.I. reruns are back on TV!

Channel 7 had started showing them every now and then (and on a completely random basis) on weekends, but their new digital channel 7TWO is playing Magnum P.I. every weekday at 11am. I set the timer every day, and have been having a blast watching the show! :)

Tom Selleck playing Magnum is so much fun to watch. In fact, everything about Magnum P.I. is fun! The fast cars, the fashion, the camaraderie between the characters, the Hawaiian scenery, the short shorts ... And apparently I'm not the only one who still has a soft spot for the show. There's a website called Magnum Mania which still has a very active fan community.

I love the Magnum P.I. theme song too - it's probably the only opening titles sequence that I never fast-forward through, because I enjoy it so much. It really gets you in the mood for some fun 80s action TV. If you can't remember how it goes, you can listen to it HERE on the Magnum Mania website. As soon as I figure out how to upload it to my mobile phone, this is going to be my new ringtone :)
